Purge
USA purge compound is a non-abrasive, stable, non-toxic,
non-flammable, colorless liquid that can be sprayed onto
any plastic.
The major components of our purge compounds are water, anionic
and nonionic surface-active agents, weak alkali cleaning
additives and defoamers, posing no health hazards.
You usually can add our purge compounds to the next resin
to be processed or to any other resin of your choice, even scrap resin. You also can add our purge compounds through liquid color
metering equipment.
The system is simple:

Figure how
much plastic you need to fill the barrel twice. |

Measure out
an amount of our purge compound equal to 3-5% of that
amount of plastic. |

Mix the plastic
and our purge compound together till the material is
evenly damp or wet. |
In
the barrel, our purge compounds act as a wetting agent,
penetrating the interface between unwanted material and
the metal barrel and screw, allowing the carrier resin to
lift it off and carry it out the nozzle or die.
